Default Ignition break-up

I am in South Africa and one of the 1st people to use the OEM Honda ECU on a built high boost turbocharged setup.

After reading alot of posts where many tuners have stated that the stock ignition system is very capable and would get you into the 600whp territory, I decided to go with this route.

The car is a Civic EG

84x89mm LS/VTEC
built B16A head
69 lb/min Holset Turbo
1600cc Bosch EV1 injectors
Full-Blown hanger with 2 x DW301
OBD1 chipped Vtec ECU
eCtune

The problem is i'm currently having spark break-up.

Initial ignition setup:

Stock B16 plug wires
Stock cap
Stock distributor
NGK BCPR7ES @ 0.35

> Car would break-up A 6500rpm in 4th gear on 12 psi on Gasoline

Revised ignition setup:

MSD Blaster 2 External coil
Magnecor plug leads
MSD Cap
NGKBCPR7E @ 0.35

> Car breaks up at 22 psi on Ethanol (E96). At 20 psi it revs to 8000, at 22 psi it starts hicupping around 6500 - 7000 rpm

I also have a spare MSD Blaster HVC-2 (Blue) coil.
Can I use this coil on the stock system like I am with the Blaster 2 at the moment ?

What would you recommend if this still doesnt solve my ignition issues ?
Can an external ignition amplifier be run with the eCtune setup ? ?

Thank you

i would go for one step colder spark plugs, if tou are near the 600whp
when you says 0.35 it is milimeter? if yes you are a bit tigth
what is your lambda when break up occurs
don't use external amplifer they add more issue than they solve

0.7 millimeter (0.030)- sorry wrote it wrong above
AFR is 11.7 - 12.0 reading off gasoline scale
We've also tried making it richer or leaner and advancing and retarding and didn't see much change in the misfire.

How small can you go on the sparkplug gap ? 0.020 ??
