Default corner balance?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys just a quick question. Im trying to make my civic a respectable car in the qtr mile. I have a turbo civic with 420hp and im running mickey thompson DR's. my best time is a 13.02@118. My tuner/builder is talking to me about getting my car corner balanced and weighted the proper way . Is this a good route to go? I have never heard of anyone getting this done and just wondering if this is something I realy need to help me get into the 11's-12's second times for a good qtr mile pass. If anyone has any insight on this please help me out.
p.s. im running stock diff and axles.

It will definitely help you from start to finish. It will allow you to focus the majority of your cars weight towards the front, in turn giving you better traction and 60' times.

You are only trapping 118 with 420hp on dr? Something doesn't sound right there. I use to trap 114 -116 with only 306hp on dr and went 12.4 all day long.

Corner balancing will help a little bit but don't expect it to be worker. have a huge change in your times.

U wanna try to get it as close as u can to a 70/30 front to back and 50/50 left to right on the front wheels. U will need coilovers to achieve this (alot of adjusting) and don't go making alot of turns at once. I did mine by 1/2 turns at a time.

It helped a bunch on the KMOD RSX. It helped us cut our 60ft down from 1.8s to 1.6s.

All-motor w/ 277whp @2700lbs we went 12.1@113 (Worlds Fastest All-Motor Street RSX)
&
Turbo w/506whp @2700 we went 10.80@133

It definetely helps.
