Icon2 2004 Accord Electrical or Transmission problems

2004 Accord-142,000 miles - Sporadically, after the car warms up (20 min highway driving) when I turn on the blinker or step on the brake the car goes out of gear. The gear indicator light goes off and there is no power for a couple seconds. The light then comes back on and power is restored. If the power goes off from the blinker action and I am accelerating the RPM shoots up. I can also go days without this happening. I have had it to 2 garages and they cannot duplicate. It started after an automatic transmission fluid flush.
Ideas of cause?

When you say "there is no power" do you mean power as electrical, engine, or transmission? Or all of the above?

Assume all but it just for a second so I am not positive. I do not feel the steering getting hard to use as if the car were off.

Also just picked it up from a Honda dealer. They could not duplicate so I just had to pay to get it back still broken! It did it 4 times on the way home from the dealer!

First, I would have the battery tested. A weak battery can cause communication errors. If you're not lucky you could have a bad ECU. Is the D light in the dash flashing or going out or coming on when it shouldn't be? I can't believe the dealership can't figure this out. I guess they are as lazy as the guys working at my local dealership. Good luck with it.
