I have a 97 ex coupe bone stock automatic and I mean bone stock today I changed the intake manifold to a skunk 2 pro series and my car started fine and now all a sudden wont start and I put a new starter on it and still dont start plz someone help

 

"Won't start" isn't enough description. Does it turn over? Does it click? Do the dash lights come on?

 

everything comes on and it just clicks tried 2 different starters

 

Could it be the starter? Love tap it?:3

 

Did you test either starter? Have you tried jump starting? I don't know if you can kick start an automatic, but have you tried?

 

Have you tested for fuel pressure? Loosen the top bolt on the fuel filter and click the key to "on." NO SMOKING, because if it's properly pressurized, gas will spray out.

 

Hmm dash lights comes on? Lights work and etc? clicks? No turning over? Not the starter? If jump starting doesnt work and u answered yes to all of these then its a loose ground wire.

Check the one near the thermostat outlet, tranny, and maybe on the cam gear side

 

Does the starter solenoid or the main relay (or both) make the click sound you are hearing?

 

no its the starter itself clicking and we tried a brand new starter and still didnt work ya ive tried jump starting it put a brand new battery too

 

well its not the starter if it trying to turn it(hence clicking) try turning the engine at the crank n see if its not seized or crossed any hose's when u was changing the intake

 

Clicking doesn't mean much for a starter. Could be good, could be bad. Take it out and bench test it. The gear should shoot out rapidly, and spin up. If it fails to do one or the other, it will still click.
