Default 93 Civic coupe MASSIVE wheel wobble

I have a massive wheel wobble from the L/F wheel when driving.I put the car up on jack stands and had my friend put it in drive. The L/F wobbles back and forth like crazy. There is no play in the wheel, nothing loose, and I rotated the tires on that side back to front and still the same.....What else could it be????

Mine is doing just as described, CHECK THE RACK AND PINION, check for leaks around seals, and POWER steering fluid loss.

My tires Wobbles LEFT TO RIGHT, NOT up and down.

You can see the bar going into Rack and pinion move, where it should NOT without force.

EDIT: by OP, No play in wheel would leave me thinking bearing is FINE

Left to right play in the wheel is a rack, inner tie rod, outer tie rod, upper or lower ball joints or even the strut top hat. All can cause left to right place in the wheel/suspension.

rotate the the tires and repeat test. That will narrow down to whether its the rim or the hub etc.

A bad rack will cause wheel woble above 55 mph. Get the rack and tie-rods changed and see if the wobble is still there. If it is, try getting the wheels rebalanced...if that doesn`t work, change the bearings..

My wheel wobbles from 0-60mph....

I dont think theres set MPH

EDIT: Wheel ballance $12, Rack, and tierods $300+... Start small....

If the rack and pinion is shot it will wobble as mine does.... The bearing would cause a different wobble... You just have to play with it, and watch what parts move, and how....

Sounds like you reposted and are unsure now exactly how it wobbles....

If you can do it without force, and its moving around, its NOT the rim/wheel, its somewhere in the stearing. I dont know enough about ball joints or tie rods....

Rim I would eliminate...

I re-read the thread, I vote bearing now too

How does the CV shaft look?

yep thats what i have to do,the R/F wheel does not wobble at all.I'm going to swap R/F with L/F and go from there....but i have a feeling its the hub and bearing.
though if the wheel bearing was bad wouldn't it be making noise???

jack the car up and grab the tire at the nine and the three o clock positions, wiggle it side to side, does it wiggle? observe the outer and inner tie rod for movement.

now grab the wheel at the twelve and the six o clock and wiggle up and down, if the whole wheel moves and nothing else moves its the wheel bearing.

Generally, left/right movement means tie rods, up/down movement means ball joint, and every direction means bearing.
