96 civic EX

Last year I installed some NGK plugs.

I had the timing belt done about 5 months ago, so I know the plugs have to be removed.

I went to take out the plugs and one plug was really tight, kept turning sort of hard but got it out, just turned more than normal to remove if that makes sense?

I am wondering if the tech cross threaded the plugs?

When I installed the new plugs didn't go in as smooth as normal, so now I am wondering if the threads are damaged?

 

You would be able to tell if it was by the spark plug itself. Here's a thought. Swap the plugs around and see if you have any issues.

I forgot to mention when I put the original plugs in I used some anti seize, later read you should not use it with NGK's, I read a bulletin. I do know when I installed them with the anti seize no problems at all.

I am wondering if the tech was careless or the anti seize had something to do with it.

I have them in now, do not want to mess with them.
