Default Mount question

I'm putting an lsvtec into my eg hatch, I see they sell 2 bolt left and 3 bolt left mounts.. what is the difference and which would I need? It's hydro transmission

My block did not come with any mounts on it at all, so I'm confused on which I can use

I couldn't tell you BUT I know if I were in YOUR position I'd find an LSVTEC build and simply see what they have used. This is not an uncommon swap.

It doesn't matter what what transmission you used, this refers to the driver's side mount. B16A/B20 mounts are 2 post, B18s use a 3 post mount. The easiest way to tell is the 2 post mounts used a black driver's side rubber mount, the 3 post mounts used an aluminum driver's side rubber mount.
