hey guys i was wondering if someone could help me out, i just picked up an 08 tl-s automatic with 80000 clicks.... everything runs great but but i want to know if this is something to be worried about ....when the car shifts gears i find that its very harsh, also when coming to a stop the car downshifts very hard is this normal for this car or could it be linked to a transmision issue? i do have a warrenty on the car is this something worth bringing the car to the dealership for ?
if anyone needs more information let me know

 

tl-s does shift a little harder, as long as the trans isnt slipping its probably normal. if you feel the car is kicking hard when it upshift/downshift.... might want to get it checked out.

 

Shifts sound about right, I find mine really only downshifts when I have been on it a little. But hell you got warranty so it's sounds like a win win... Is it stock or modded?

 

i find third and forth gear are the a little rougher compared to the rest...
the car is stock, do you have any mods done to yours

 

Only thing I don't have done is the Pre Cat Deletes, And I dyno'd 275 I believe to the wheels.
ATLP Catback, ATLP Race pipe, ATLP J-pipe, Intake, Throttle body spacer.

 

have you replaced your 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches?

 

What color is your ATF? Do you have the service history?
