debating which route i should go for my fuel setup. i know for sure i'll be getting a 9 gallon FCS fuel tank but debating if i should go with a sumped tank with either a aeromotive a1000 pump, dual bosch 044's or a intank dual walbro setup. which setup would everyone recommend me on using. thanks in advance.
You cannot go too wrong with boschs. They are awesome pumps. And its a plus.when you.do switch over to the FCS you won't have any problems with what ever you go with.
the A1000 has horrible reliability BTW
i must have the most awsome a1000 every built becaus mine has about 3 years of driving/track time on it and well its still ticking lol.
whats the power goals/what fuel/what injectors

power goal is about 750+hp will be using race gas, no e85 in hawaii. might also be using some id1000 or id2000 injectors.
I probaly would'nt use the A1000 since ur gonna buy a new pump just go all out an get the
aeromotive pro series or elimanator series an be done with it.

i also had this power goal man and talked to spoolinmatt and went with the aeromotive pro series pump and love it
757@34psi on a 84.5mm b16 on e85 and id2000's
duty is at 77%

only problem to me with 2 044's is if one fails the other is still pumping and causing you to go lean
use one pump and it fails the car just dies lol

I never like Aluminum fuel tanks unless it has a bladder.

We use Bosch 044. we've been on the same ones for three years on our ESR SFWD Civic. Looks baller with an FCS tank. Here's a pic of a customers car we just finished. It's also an FCS tank with sending unit.
I made this calculator a couple months ago may help you with deciding what pumps to run.

No one asked if it was a street car that will see street duty as well as the track?. you could use either setup as long as you have some kind of voltage regulator for the fuel pump. Aeromotive has a regulator box designed for the pump to keep the pump from over heating. dual walbros will work great cause they use the fuel to cool the pumps and also would be that much better with a KB boost a pump which can increase your fuel pumps potential and reduce the cars current BSFC.
