Default 1992 eg civic hatchback w. jdm b16a motor swap and ls tranny

i bought the car 2 years ago with the motor already swapped. when i bought it the speedo was in-op and the guy i bought it off of told me that all it needed was a speed sensor, but i dont know where to get one from. also just recently i realized that my axles are starting to go and clunk when making sharp turns and accelerating. i was wondering how i should go about getting a new pair of axles too. i will keep this post up and keep posting all of my problems on it. sorry if i sound dumb or annoying, im kinda new to this stuff.

no need to get mad. I'm sure you're good at searching on "google". You can buy the VSS (vehicle speed sonsor) on eBay or iin the classified section of this forum. If you need to replace the axles, go to your nearby Autozone to get axles for Integras '94-00. Make sure you look to see which ones you need. They are not the same, passenger/driver.

Im almost positive it is a OBD1 B16A. Look at the head just above the exhaust manifold and look for some numbers. Should look similar to this (9l2). Which means it is most likely a 1992 engine. The transmission should be a hydraulic transmisson which means it is 94-01. If it is a cable transmission it is it a 90-93.

If you need parts for your motor you can get them from almost any B series VTEC motor. I usually get them from a 99-00 Si. You could also get them from:

94-97 Del Sol Vtec
94-01 Integra GSR/ITR

he said its an ls tranny. so just go to vatozone and get remaned axles for a 94-01 interga 1.8l without vtec (thats how their computer shows the car) dont get new theyre not as long (atleast on the vtec axles). the vss you should only need the top not the gear and stuff on the bottom, but if the vss isnt working then the vtev shouldnt kick in (on a stock ecu) and it would throw a cel.

Yeah, I said if it's hydraulic it's 94-01 and if it's cable 90-93. Pretty self explanatory. He already knows it's an LS tranny.

I Also said if he needs parts for his MOTOR he could get them from those years and cars.

Thanks.
