Hi I recently bought a integra Gsr with LSD tranny but lately I've been driving and when I come from a dead stop and try to turn and accelerate it make a weird noise like a grinding or binding noise only when I come from a dead stop and try to go and turn it makes the noise trying to see what's the problem could be someone told me this is normal but I don't think so

Dont think this is normal but can we can info on your suspension set up? Have a feel it has little to do with your trans from what your saying so far. Can you feel the grinding anywhere or just hear it??

 

U feel it but it only happens when u start from dead stop only on turns if I'm driving and and make a turn no noise only my suspensions is stock

 

Im sorry but im having a hard time understanding your writing. So you get a noise ONLY when from a dead stop and ONLY when turning? You DONT get a noise when going straight from a dead stop? is this correct? if so you might want to check your axles. From what your saying I would seek the problem there. check end gaps, wobble, leakage.
where do you feel it? floor board, tires, shifter, stearing?

 

My bad I meant to say from a dead stop when I turn and accelerate it makes a noise only when I turn and accelerate from a dead stop

 

I just got new axles not to long ago too

 

So im assuming the new axles fit properly? I think the jdm trans have a differnt half shaft but i could be wrong. trannys arent really my thing so im not even gonna try. hopfully someone with better expertise can jump in and help you. Good luck.

It could be lots of factors. Is your tranny slipping? every time you turn and accelerate ? it feels as if it jerks you back? like a slight delay of shifting? how does the noise sound?
and when you stay in neutral and rev do you hear anything spinning?

 

I don't think the tranny is slipping. Only when I'm at a stop and turn and accelerate it makes a weird click or binding noise sometimes it sounds like a banging too and if in neutral don't hear anything

 

its really bad now to the point where when i start from a stop and take a right turn in first the passenger side axle seems to pop and bang like its binding up, diff sounds like its grinding and making all sorts of strange noise and its no longer smooth acceleration in that situation, it will like jerk and pulsate forward until i straighten my wheel out.

 

Sounds like a normal clutch LSD without friction additive.

What LSD is in the tranny?
What fluid are you using?

 

As Bone asked...What LSD? The factory viscous type LSD or an aftermarket one. If its the factory viscous version that came in the JDM SiR-G Integra...it may have gone bad if its making a grinding sound. It will jerk a little in low speed turns but, not grind and pop.
