Anyone use after market dizzy cap and rotor?

For years I have been using honda caps and rotors.
The car is older and to save some money, anyone use aftermarket caps and rotors.
Any problems with them?

LMFAO, just use OEM ignition parts people. When you have to buy parts sooner, or because they break/cause other issues, and reduce fuel mileage they cost you MORE.
wow 6 months! a properly maintained distributor is good for 15+ years. So many dizzy's fail is because people don't maintain it properly by changing it out on time and using oem ignition parts which causes the icm and coil to work harder and eventually fail.
Friend's 94 integra had about 240k before the coil failed. My 88 civic had no distributor problem for 17 years.
Whats the need for higher output? oem dizzys are good for what 500+ hp? And doesnt more output mean more voltage requirements thus more stress on the components?

I am running a duralast dizzy cap and rotor on a built b16. They are a lot cheaper and come from a reputable business. It's not like you were buying one off ebay from some random shady jdm123dood or something and then getting it china.
I stick with oem for serious stuff like oil pumps, water pumps wierd o-rings, etc, but for stuff like caps, rotors, gaskets, etc, Autozone is ALOT closer than my local honda dealer.

Here's a pro-tip, need an igniter or coil? Go crack open ANY distributor for a 90-93 Accord. You'll find tons of them. Not many people know that the coil/igniters are the same exact part.
I try to stick with the OEM cap/rotor but have never had many issues with auto parts ones. I have had a few issues in the past but I always just exchanged it for a different one, not that big of a deal.

Reason I'm asking is my 93 civic ex D16Z6 started misfiring recently and eventually died. After working on the car and trying to find the cause I finally bit the bullet and took it to the Honda dealer for diagnosis. $300 later I had the contact points under my engine bay fusebox cleaned of corrosion and told i was good after installing an Carquest brand distributor.(parts store here in FL) 3 days later my car did the same thing, bad misfire and only starting with a rollstart. The service advisor told me I needed an OEM ignition. I was wondering if I was going to be wasting more money.

Accel ignition coils feature advanced bobbin technology, highly specialized silicone magnetic steel cores, along with optimized winding, resistance and turns ratios to delivery 10-15% more energy than the OEM coils. Specialized high temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration, while increasing thermal conductivity.
Haven't had any luck with used ignition parts out of junkyards. Ive burned through 3 coils and two ICMs. Course, this was before I found out my fusebox was badly corroded.
