Find out why it's burning oil and address it accordingly.

It sounds like a mis fire it also boggs down when going from a stop and acts like it doesnt want to start. Ive checked in the spark plugplugs wells and there is some oil in there. I didnt have time to pull them to see if they are fouled out though. Tomorrow im going to replace the plugs and valve cover gasket tomorrow.

check plugs and wires for condition. oil on the wires and plugs can make the motor run rough and seem to have a misfire. replace the valve cover gaskets and grommets if those are the suspects on your oil consumption/leak.

Thank you for the change in the title. Its apreciated. And the wires along with the cap and rotor are good. Was also wondering of it could be a lack of fuel/or air

You can do a compression check as well, that will help to see if there is a problem with the rings.

Does the car smoke?

I have a friend who can check the compression. I honestly didn't think about compression being a problem. Ill have to do that this weekend. I work 2ndall shift so getting things acomplished daily is somewhat difficult. But it pays the bills and will be oaying for my parts. So no complaints in the end.

It could also be the valve seals or valve guides... did you diagnose it to ensure it was the bottom end and not the head?

OP: Like mentioned you should do a compression test if that comes up normal you can do a leakdown test to be sure. Then I'd take off the intake manifold and check to see if there's any oil pooling on the neck of the valves... same for the exhaust manifold/valves...

Just for clarity what engine do you have?

Its the stock d15b7, the first mods ever to the car were by me via a shirt ram intake and strut bars. It doesnt have any really valve chatter. I am wanting to replace the intake mani with a z6

I'll sell you one CHEAP... I have two just sitting around.

Do the compression test and post the results.

Replaced plugs and wires. Cylinder 4 and 2 plugs were terribly fouled out. And the number 4 cylinder wire was broken. Stil hesitates under full throttle. Going to tear into it this weekend
