Default DOHC ZC in OBD1 EG Cutting out

So about 3 weeks ago I got ahold of a DOHC ZC and installed it in my EG. All went well, I have a chipped P06. I burned a P29 bin on the Chip. Turned it over and it fired right up Idling perfectly. I was extremely happy. Warmed up pulled it out of my shop. Turned down my street, and immediately noticed as soon as I got to about 3-4,000rpm it would not go. Like it was in limp mode. Came back had 2 CEL's for the MAP and IAT sensors. I don't know why, they were both plugged in, but i went ahead and replaced them. Got rid of the CEL, but it ran the same. And then for no apprent reason it gave me a CEL and wouldn't tell me what it was. Hooked up my jumper and it stayed Solid?? I played with the wiring and downloaded another Bin and tried making my own. It went away, but now the car run reverse of before. Starts right up and go to the Idle threshold, but immediately drops to around 500-600rpm and sputters and shakes even when cold. And unless I have it wide open throttle, it will cut out horribly. Until I finally get it to over 4,000rpm and then it really picks up. Sometimes it doesn't though? For the last week it has been doing this and I cannot figure out why. I have tried all kinds of tunes non are better than the last. I have my O2 Disabled because my wiring harness is missing it. I cannot find the plug or corresponding wires for it anywhere in my wiring loom. But I have had 3 engines in this car all with no O2. 2 were Turboed so id didn't matter, and my original D15 got 40mpgs with no O2 sensos and ran just fine. Recently after about 10 minutes of driving it will come up with a CEL #42 which is fuel supply system. The filter is new, the injectors are off my old engine I know they're good. The fuel rail and FPR aren't clogged. I replaced the fuel pump last year. I don't know how it comes up with that. Some people said it a bad O2, but its disabled? I changed out the Throttle position sensor as well. I don't see what else it could be. I don't think the Cat is clogged. I mean everything in my car worked fine with my last engine...I am at a complete loss, any insight or help would be great.

Thanks, James

OBD1, all the tunes I've been running are said to be for OBD1 DOHC ZC.

I'm not familiar with any code 42 for our ECUs. Are you sure it's not code 1 and 41? Post a video.

Is it possible that you have some sensor connectors swapped?

my mistake it is 43. I have checked and rechecked all my wiring. IACV, IAT, MAP and TPS are all plugged in correctly. I have made sure all pins are secure, and in proper location. Tried another ECU also. I'm at a total loss. I checked and redid the timing before I swapped the engine in. Checked again after I started it for the 1st time, and set ignition timing at 16 degree BTDC. I will get to making a video tomorrow.

Thanks for linking me to people with the same problem? no answers there. I have done all of those things if not more. Idk what is left to replace? my cat isn't clogged, my distributor is brand new. Fuel Pressure is good at fuel pump, before filter after filter, fuel rail...

Well, in the first link, the first thing the poster says is to replace the O2 sensor, and you keep insisting that it's "disabled". I'd be willing to bet that's your problem, assuming you're correct about your injectors, rail, FPR, pump, filter, and lines.

It is Disabled I receive no CEL for it being unplugged. A monkey with Crome and a chip burner can do the same.... I had a D15 and a D16 with no O2 with P06 ECU, gave me a code for that but they ran just fine. The D15 still got 40mpgs. I now have a chipped p28, I ran it with the D16. I burned that tune with the O2 Disabled and it ran just fine too. Got rid of the CEL. This engine is no different...

Next, I'm going to redo my exhaust from the header back. I have a full stock exhaust besides a DC 4-1 at the moment. I took the cat off and i could see clear as day through it, but I think it might me exhaust related somehow. Maybe the muffler or the secondary muffler. It has started overheating recently so something is up. Hope this fixes.
