pretty sure my aftermarket fpr isnt the problem, other people have had the same issues with the stock fpr. i noticed something today when i turned on my car in the mourning i looked at the floor near the exhast and everytime i would hear the car bogg a bunch of gunk would spill out like water with black stuff... then when the check engine light came on it whent away. its not coolant i know for sure its not a headgasket because it doesnt blow out any smoke. but idk thats what it did maybe since it was cold water build up in the air? first crank in the mourning idk if it does it after warm... man i wish some one knew the fix to this!!!

do a compression test...

My car was FUCKED after i got this code, but the #1 fix, is to replace your o2 sensor... or check your O2 sensor wiring (maybe grounded out)....

if your car is running okay, but just has the code... I would check your o2 sensor wiring in your exhaust, and possibly in ur ecu

Put the stock FPR on and see what you get.

You do NOT NEED an aftermarket fpr, what a headache.

He's telling you to do that in order to rule out your aftermarket regulator, you don't have to keep it off, just swap it out and reset the ecu to see if the problem reoccurs. Troubleshooting is your friend

Yeah, don't be lazy. It takes 10 minutes. (don't forget to open gas cap LOL)

Its not about thinking about what it could possibly be blindly. Its about narrowing the possbilities down so you hit the nail right on the head without alot of unnecessary guessing. Its usually more cost and time effective (faster)that way.

I'd listen to mgags. He seems to know his ****.

(btw, in regards to my stalling in mornings, I put in a new coil and the stalling is gone. It could have been bad connections at the coil (I cleaned the contact points and quick connector, as well as ground to secondary coil) but either way It fires up immediately every time first crank*knock on wood*even in our -7 morning we had)

Oxygen Sensor.
First thing to try.

i've had 43 code come on, and the car would usually run crappy at about half throttle, but usually come out of it. It was code 43 kept showing up every time my check engine light came on. I replaced the fuel filter, and my pump was new, so I didn't know what the problem was, and i just kept driving.

A month or so later, code 41 popped up. Once it was showing 41 code, it would run fine once the check engine light came on. (because with code 41 engine runs in open loop at all times if c.e.l. is on)

Long Story short,
I replaced the O2 sensor and have had NEITHER code pop up since.

unplug your O2, reset the codes and drive it for a bit. you will for sure get code 41 immediately for the o2, and if you still get 43, you KNOW it isn't the O2. (just to save you the $$ of buying a new 02 right away) Honda ECU's are very, very picky about the O2 sensor voltage, and can throw code 43, before it realizes it is the O2.

The Heater in a heated 02 sensor reaches as high as 1300 degrees, so if you touched the element AT ALL before it was installed, it can severely shorten the life of the O2, due to the hot spot caused by body oil (just like touching a halogen headlight bulb will shorten the life) I have heard a few times of hondas throwing codes 41 and 43 less than 6 months after a new one was installed.

also, has your fuel mpg suffered?

yeah.. if i fill my h23 when the light comes on, i have about 350 miles. bad 02 sensors kill your mileage. Have you tried unplugging the o2 sensor and checking the codes? it is super easy to do. the plug is about 6" above where the o2 plugs in. takes 5 minutes.

as far as i know, there is no way to clean the 02, but i am not sure.
