Sedan third brake light removal

Hello all, i searched and found nothin. I have a 98 4dr civic, and the third brake light is out. What is the correct way to remove it?

remove the nuts underneath it in the trunk.. unless you mean the bulb...

would it be the same to just change the bulb?
