More head...who has got it?
me, all the time but thats different.
2 of the 3 shops and engine builders ive been talking to about my rebuild have both told me there isnt really much to gain form porting the head. How much hp will 1500 dollars come out to.
Also, should i swap the clutch or flywheel or both while im in there. The cars got 68000 miles now of a moderatly hard life.

Headwork is usually one of the last things people do, once they have exhausted all other means of obtaining more power.
Likewise, the law of diminishing returns applies here.
If you don't have a clutch or flywheel, I'm guessing it's not really time to start looking at headwork if you want bang for the buck.

As they say, if you gotta ask, you probably can't afford it!
Headwork only makes sense if you are pushing a lot more air through the motor (through revs or boost) or running high compression (or both)
