help! b16a smoking BADDDD!
Just finished installing a b16a sirII motor into my 2000 civic ex and It was running fine for the first 200 miles and now its spitting out large amounts of white smoke but everytime I check the fluids they are the same and I did a compression test and the numbers are perfect all the way across but the new spark plugs are black? I was thinking maybe valve seals?
White smoke usually is an indication that coolant is being burned.
Check cooling system, (overflow tank, radiator) for a smell of fuel or contamination.
Spark plugs were black? Wet, dry?

I put new plugs the day I did the swap and when I pulled them out for the compression test they where wet and black. When the smoke comes out it smells like burning oil..
Honestly bro you mor then likely have a small crack in the head gasket between your coolant and the exhaust. You can take it to a shop, or even go to a star auto or autozone and get a test kit that will test for carbon in the water. if i remember correctly its like $40-$50 real simple to use. and some places if there cool enough will do the test for you. But as far as initial takes go, I would say it is coolant and exhaust. To be perfectly honest if it is your one luck dog.

White smoke is not always a headgasket. Your car is most likely running extremely rich and the smoke/smell is from raw fuel. That would also explain why the plugs are soaked. Can you feel a misfire? What ecu are you using? Is the CEL on? If so, what are the codes?
No misfire, no cel, I have a Rywire jumper harness and I'm running the eg sir ecu. the plugs are not even 2weeks old and they are black, and I can smell oil burning bad so I'm going to replace the valve seals and see if that works.
