Default Help: del sol/D16y8 swap - won't rev past 4k rpm after replacing distributor

So I bought a 95 del sol and when I had got it it was driving fine pulled strong
Drove it home. 2 hours later died on the freeway and didn't wanna turn on.
The guy had done obd2 to obd1 wiring for the motor ?
I changed the dizzy and bought a z6 dizzy and the check engine light was on but it had been on since I got it. But when I drove it this time the rpms would not let me go past 4k . On my way back home the car died and did not turn back on. Idk what could be wrong with it . Any ideas?

Is it an automatic? If not you have an automatic ECU and can't get rid of that code unless you convert the ECU to manual.

Yea I was trying a different ecu but now the car doesn't even turn on . There is a lot of wires that are cut under the dash and there is a replay they wired to the fuel pump and i wired it to power and the fuel pump primed but wouldn't turn on -_-
