i have a 1993 honda del sol i just finished a d16z6 swap into it and i'm hitting a rev limiter at 3500 rpms i'm not throwing a code its not my distributor or ecu i've tried switching these already anyone else have a idea. i'm at my end with this car....

Does the CEL work? Is the mechanical timing off by one tooth on the timing belt?

this motor does not like timing to be off. re- check that and try new plugs and wires.

ok this just in i guess the engine was in a obd2 car, which actually expains alot... i believe it has d15 injectors in it compliments of my little brother trying to bring it down to obd1 again could this be my problem??

so you have a hack and slash half assed obd2 to obd1 conversion going on in some way?
