Default Crappy Aftermarket Distributor?

Last Fall my distributor crapped out so i bought a new after market one because honda wanted 1100.00 for it. any ways on my way to school yesterday i lost my throttle respoce, the car started hesitating and simply slowed down to a stop where it stalled and would not start back up. I honestly dont know what it is. On the plus side, I took advantage of the free roadside assistance honda offered to me , they towed me back home 50km under hondas expence lol. Anyways what should I first look at? Thanks

Check for fuel and check for fire. Btw, you can buy just the distributor housing from Honda which comes with the CYP/CKP/TDC sensors and the bearing plate. You supply the coil and igniter from your old distributor. IIRC these are a little over $100 If the coil or igniter is bad you can buy those separately too.
