Im selling my 99 Dx back to the original owner next week. It has a stock Y7, no CEL's and it runs perfect with no smoking.
I have a D16Y8 intake manifold with a Y8 air box on it. The IAT is in the correct spot and it gives no issues. Also, it has a Y7 throttle body with the 3 wire IACV.
The breather port on the valve cover is open though, would they give me a hard time about that? or about the manifold swap period?
I do have a Y7 intake manifold but I dont have the air box.

And I got a pipe that goes from the VC to the intake arm from a 95 Civic Ex, so its not VTA anymore. I hope someone that does smogs can give me some input!

its cali man, my dad can drive his f350 turbo around town all day with a 5" exhaust it seems but your y8 mani is gonna ruin the enviorment for us all....

Take it to a smog shop
Not a test only center
But a regular smog spot costs about 40 and they tell you if u pass or fail and what u need to fixx

IT PASSED!
I took it to do the pre test and he said it was very clean so they did the smog right there and then. I was pretty confident it would pass but I was kinda scared since I had that block boosted for a year and it might have put some stress on the piston rings.
Im not sure every place will pass you with a Y8 manifold but smog centers really wont know the difference between a Y7 and a Y8 manifold haha.

The car is now sold but a random question: Will it pass with a Y8 exhaust manifold and Y8 catalytic converter?
