Default Converting from y7 to y8 intake manifold I have a few questions.

I am going to put a y8 intake manifold onto my 98 civic dx soon and I have few questions.

1. I know I need to use the y7 throttle body, so which throttle body gasket should I get? A y7 or a y8?

2. The y8 intake manifold I just bought is from a 99, so it has the air injection holes where the injectors are. I know I am supposed to plug them up....but which year intake manifold gasket should I get?? Should I get the 99-00 or should I get a 96-98?? Still sealing up the air injection holes I am thinking the 96-98 would be a better choice because maybe it will cover up the air injection holes for added protection.

3. Will the y8 intake manifold support bracket bolt right up in my civic dx?

1. you can use a y8 or y7 throttle body, doesnt matter, they are the same thing
2. use the 96-98 gasket for protection, plug up the extra port on the manifold with a rubber end
3. yes it will bolt right up
