Default Logan's Ek Sedan "build"

So about a year and a half ago I started driving and as a result I was given the extra car sitting on my grandmothers lawn. She at some point bought this 98 dx automatic forest green civic and it accumulated 179k miles on. She handed over the keys and I was like "oh it will be my nice stock granny car that wont draw any attention" but that didn't really last; I started replacing parts that were worn out with new "performance parts" and what do you know that's where the "build" <-- I hate that term || I will post pictures up to date now.

My goals for the car;
B16 swap
convert to five speed
Paint the car white
Paint an American flag on the trunk (not a JDM car so, no rising sun for this guy)
Get some new rims
Do all the body work myself (fixing dents, broken bumpers)

Got a front grill and some lame fogs

got some shitty rims

coils

nice and stock

Word dude, can't complain with free cars! I have spent way too much on my other Hondas. This one is still my favorite because I think of her when I work on it.

I order a dent removing wedge to try and bang out some of the dents on my fenders. Also Wesco opens again tomorrow so I am going to pick up some self etching primer.

nice engine... might want to look into the newer version of the skunk 2 lca bushings, the newer ones are orange bushings and are better.

Thanks man, I will call Skunk2 tonight about getting the upgrade kit. Do you know what they changed in them?

@Rude Awakening I know right, there are way too many out right now

You should get an SiR lip, just a little input on your build. Hows the throw on that shifter?

Yeah that's my favorite lip. I haven't done the conversion yet so I don't know

Looking good man, My goals are also to convert my 98 EX auto to 5spd at some point. My only suggestion is put that front plate on the other side. You are restricting air flow to the rad in that spot.

This is true I moved it a couple weeks ago to inside my windshield.
So something is really messed up in my rear suspension and my rear tires are down to the wires so I'm going to stop driving it and take the bus for the next few weeks. I want to get a lot of things fixed during that time that I wont be paying for gas,

So I got my car in the air today, pulled off the tires and gave everything a quick bath. I think the bouncing in the rear end is coming from the tire because it was down to the wires in spots and seemed to be bulging in spots. So I will be getting those re-wrapped in some fresh rubber. I am also Ordering a rear camber kit to try and push out the negative camber so I can run closer to stock. I need some advice on what ones to get I have about $150 for them and I want the best I can get for that. So here are some pictures because everyone likes pictures.

You could do the washer camber trick. It's like $5 at the most and it's easy to do. Worked great for me.

I will for sure use that idea down the road but I bought a kit because I wanted the new bushings as well, plus they look dope and I can really dial it in.

So I got crashed into the other day, it took off my mirror and scratched up the side of my car pretty bad but I got the a new mirror on and buffed some of it out, also I got the camber kit in back put on and it helps the handling a lot. ill post pics as soon as I can figure out how to do it from my phone.
