yeah its kind of a poor fitting lip, I got it for $40 so I got what I paid for. I have a dx with a 15/14 prop if that helps. I was also thinking about a Wilwood master while im working on brakes.

Here is the picture of my new rear bumper, this was a day before I got a big dent in the rear pass door continued the the lower 1/4 panel after getting pushy with some other cars. There is a power door on craigslist and I might start putting a set of those in.

Also picked up my y8 tranny and a clutch for my swap.

one last thing Idk if I told you guys but I sold my b16 stuff so I could use the money else where on the car and ill post what I got with it when it comes

Thanks for the kind words guys! I ordered a few more parts today
Timing belt
Drain plug
Oil pan gasket

to add to my list of parts to go in
valve cover gasket
head gasket
water pump
thermostat
ball joint covers
and a bunch of gaskets that go along with those parts, I would have gotten more but shipping on this stuff is making me broke

15/14 prop? dont think that exist. i think you have a 13/16.

NO to the wilwood. a wilwood would not be plug and play, a 1" w/matching booster should be. at the very least it would be a lot easier.

Thanks for the input, I have been having a hard time figuring all this out, Im thinking these are the wrong trailing arms for my car and Im not sure how to put the two sets together..

Im going to look into the 1'' for the brake upgrades im thinking of.

So I am about to pull the motor, I just have to finish getting the supra running so my car can go in!

Some Ideas I need help with:

I found a subframe on craigslist for $40 with arms and rack. Mine got crumpled last yeah at Honda-Tech when I took out a road turtle. But I Dont know if I am really trying to completely take apart my car right now then have to get it towed to an alignment shop ext. Seems like a good plan but what if I just smash this one.

next is I keep ripping my side skirts off on things because the plastic screws on the bottom keep rubbing away and they cost a lot, any remedies for this? Is there a different set up any of you use?

In other new:

I read the PHAHEEM build and really dug his sound proofing idea so I ordered some of the stuff.

The sound proofing should be in this week and some other goodies Ill post up.

Wow this reminds me so much of my current sedan build up! You are alot far ahead of me already though. Here's a quick pic of mine, I also purchased from a female family member completely bone stock with 206k needing a headgasket. I am keeping the original motor in it (d16y7) and rebuilding it. I don't trust buying used motor parts for my DD. I do live in FL so you can see how much the sun has loved the moldings on this car Sorry for thread jacking!

you can always paint or replace your old molding, looks like we both have a lot of miles so the cars really show their age. Maybe time for us to paint?

Good luck with the sound proofing man, it's very time consuming; but the end result is well worth it!
