My Factory Rear Tow Hook on my DC Integra is rusted thru, to the point it looks like it will tear off if i ever have to use it as a tow point. Id like to replace the whole assembly, it looks like a fairly large bracked thats spot welded in place. Anyone ever replace this? (drill out and re-weld a new one on). Any other names for this? im having trouble finding a replacement from OEM, since there are so many aftermarket tow hooks available. Id like to add an aftermarket one in the future but i would have to fix the factory one first since most install on this.

 

I'd say go find a similar teg at the junkyard or off a friends parts car, cut off whats needed and re-weld.

 

Yeah im sorta holding thats for my last option, but they look like a p.i.t.a to remove so im trying to avoid having to do it twice. plus avoiding the hassle of trying to find a rust free one.
