Icon2 s300 in auto p28

is it fine to run the ecu with automatic components still intact in a manual car.
and it has a s300 installed in it already.
or do i need to desolder the components for it to be able to run it?

You need to convert it.

I do not believe the s300 code will throw a code 19.
If it does simply remote rp17 and rp18 and jump rp18 with a jumper.

Correct.

You do not need to remove the 2 automatic transistors.

got a problem. the s300 broad is blocking rp18 and rp17.
so i can't get to it. so now do i just remove ic15 and ic1 transistors?

The s300 board can be removed it simply slides onto the male pins.
The ecu does not care about the IC transistors.

As I said before. Don't waste your time with it unless you are throwing a code 19.

wasn't sure if the s300 broad was solder on. so didn't want to take the risk.

Converting the ecu to 5 speed has absolutely nothing to do with the USB driver or Smanager.

The s300 will function with an automatic or manual p28.

Read the Smanager help file. Read the section on usb driver.

You really should have just bought the system brand new from an authorized dealer to prevent these headaches.
I would never recommend buying a used s300. Especially because of this: http://www.hondata.com/s300_counterfeit.html

Either consult the smanager help documentation http://hondata.com/help/smanager/index.html or contact the dealer you purchased the system from.

ok, i'm sorry for putting you guys in this situation, but i finally got the USB driver installed.
I tried doing it the way Hondata had it in the USB trouble shot guide line, but that didn't work. Tried it manually and typed down (c:\program files\Smanger) and didn't work, and than i tried it manually again and typed down (c:\program files\86x\Smanger) or something like that and it worked.

thanks for all your help too.
now i gotta go apologize to the guy who sold me the s300.
