Axle Nuts won't come off - Ive broken 4 1/2 breaker bars and torched them
Is it at all possible that my axle nuts on my 92 EG8 are reverse thread???
Ive broken 4 1/2 breaker bars and used PB Blaster and torched them and still won't budge!
Im honestly just about to cut the nuts off!

nope they are standard thread... I've done the same thing several times... you need to hit it with a really good impact... if the car is still driveable, just take it to a shop, have them turn up the torque... and get ready to watch sparks fly as the rust breaks down
I've been right there with you... it's a pain in the *** but if you can't get it and need it off... you may pulling your spindle and hitting a shop... I've broken at least 20 1/2" drive ratchet/breaker bars in the past...
Can't break mine though! lol, that one day working on your ef hatch we had my craftsman breaker bar and the 4ft handle off the floor jack. still didn't break that thing. Thing has some proper "seasoning"..

lol isn't that the one with the twisted head??
go to harbor freight or northern tools if you have one. pick up a decent air gun(mine was 150.) spray em with liquid wrench, get an actual axle nut socket and hit that thing till they fly off. i broke 1 breaker bar with a 7 foot extention(go big or go home im lazy.) before trying that. ball joints are a bigger pita then this usually is.
OP, have you tried using a hammer instead of long extension pipes. Using a standard socket and a fixed handle about a foot long, give it fast swings of a medium sized hammer. It might take a dozen or more blows but it will shake it loose. Worked for me everytime and never broke anything.

^^^ I wasn't able to raise the tab completely but I used a 4' 3/4" steel pipe with my 1/2" craftsman wrench. I applied pressure to the point the pipe would flex 6-8" and released and did that about three times before putting some real force into it. It worked like a charm for me.
It is a method used in the auto body world to pull damaged areas back out. If I remember correctly it causes the atoms in the metal to become more mailable and less likely to fracture and break something.
I have since purchased a refurb. dewalt 1/2" electric impact wrench off ebay for $125. I love it for suspension components.
Or a dremel and new nuts!!!

If they are that seized on there you are probably better off getting a wizz wheel and cutting them. Grind a notch on both sides to where you can just barely see the threads stating to show, then hit it at an angle with a chisel. It will pop right open. I would suggest running a die or thread file on the axle and use a little anti-sieze when you put them back on.
