Im going to order an exhaust with a test pipe for 2003 and I want to know how many spacers do I need for the secondary o2?

I tried googling it but some guys are making it so complicated. I currently have one in my possession, but ive seen pictures with people using two.

1 is fine... if it has a CEL still and you want to clear it then maybe 2

 

On VWs we only needed one, or an angle block. One should be fine, but you could ghetto rig something up if you throw a CEL. However if you know its the o2 sensor causing a CEL I wouldn't worry about it too much, when it comes time for emissions just hook up the car and clear the code.

Usually 2 does the trick for sure, but I know BLOX custom makes an O2 CEL delete.

The exhaust came in today, ill definitely post it up tomorrow and update on whether the lights come on and if so when.

The eBay exhaust went on without a hitch and fitment was dead on. They sent the burn tip (I asked for all chrome) but it didnt look bad like it does on other fake exhausts. It sounds amazing, not too loud at all. The test pipe has a 6" resonator and the piping has an I believe 18".




Its been about 30 miles and still no MIL. Again im only using one defouler, if the MIL comes on ill throw on a second one and report back.

 

not a big fan of fart cans...can i ask why you went with an ebay exhaust and not a known brand?

An exhaust is an exhaust, just piping (As long as its mandrel bent!). I know many will hate that statement but thats my opinion. When it comes to more complicated systems, I would definitely go the quality route such as with coil overs. Plus it was $180 shipped with test pipe.

I had an eBay exhaust on my '91 Civic and again; it was perfect fit, 2.5" stainless steel, mandrel bent, and a decent looking muffler. It wasnt raspy at any RPM, and it had a nice tone even at WOT.

 

I'm really not a fan of the dual N1 fartcan look. A single fartcan on the S2000 looks kinda funny....the dual looks terrible, IMO. Glad you like it, though.

 

I have 0 defoulers on my test pipe.

 

i used 1,000 spacers so the o2 sensor sits just under the passenger door mirror. No CEL
