Hey guys so I installed a wink mirror in my 95 cx hatch a few months ago and it's great and all but vibrates WAY too much having subwoofers doesn't help the cause either lol so now my question is while removing my old mirror a part of the mounting base (attached to windshield) broke off so where can I purchase another mounting base? I highly prefer the OEM one cause it's metal and not plastic and you can't go wrong with OEM :p I figure i'll buy a mirror from a junkyard MajesticHonda charges 80$!!

Start scrounging junkyards because the piece you're bumping all these old threads for does NOT seem to come with the rear view mirror assembly but is in fact part of the windshield proper. It is NOT sold as a separate piece. They have aftermarket repair kits, of the universal design, in most auto parts stores (the last time I checked) but don't hold out hope that it will actually work.

 

go to any good windshield shop they should be able to hook u up

 

Junk yards then a real good epoxy that can take the heat from the sun all day
