HI Im new to the form and need help bad i have a 95 civic dx that sat for 2 years before i swaped a b18b1 into it now it wont start have fuel spark and compression. timing is dead on all grounds are right it cranks if i play with the throttle it will spit and spuder It will run for a little bit on starting fuild plz help have been fighting this car for 2 weeks also one of my buddies that "knows" HONDA'S installed new ECU plugs for me when we did the swap thanks

 

What color is the spark?

 

blueish white also just noticed the 3rd brake light is on

 

I had the same probablem. I just put my engine back into my teggy and it would turn over but wouldnt start. I checked my thermostat ground and saw it was loose. I tightened it up and it started right away. I know you said your grounds were good but check it. It saved me

 

If it will run with starter fluid then it's fuel related most likely, Did you put fresh gas in it?

 

yea fresh gas and the ground at the thermostat is good spent 3days checking all grounds
