I have a 96 dx hatch that i just swapped a "poor man's type r" in. it is a jdm b18c block with a pr3 head and pr3 pistons. i am actually using a 99 ex coupe wiring harness in my 96 hatch so and i was wondering should i use a obd2a or obd2b jumper harness (because im not using the 96-98 harness) to obd1 because i want to run a chipped p28 with a b18c5 basemap. I was also wondering if it is safe to run your car on a basemap. any advice would be appreciated thanks

im guessing i need the obd2b to obd1 jumper harness because im useing the obd2b engine harness
