K. Well I got dirt bellowing in to my car. Not sure where exactly Its coming from..I removed the speaker panels behind the seat to fit some larger speakers so those are not in right now..Also the two storage boxes behind the seats are awfully dirty so my guess is it's coming from around there. Hard to tell tho, might also be coming through the heater vents which was my initial thought. Gonna go right ape **** crazy with some duct tape unless someone has a better idea

For newer Civics, I know the box IS there starting in 96, but it only came from the factory with a filter from Europe. Luckily the duct system is the same in USDM, JDM, and Euro market Civics. However, there is NO filter number for Civics, but the CRV filter frame and filter are an exact fit. Just ask for a pre-01 (I think) CRV cabin filter and frame at an autoparts store and you'll be set
^^
Sorry to thread jack

In regards to older Civics, is there a way to switch out the duct system under the dash with one from a newer Civic so you CAN have that filter or is it just not possible/worth the effort?

you can put a filter in there but requires parts from a crv. heres the thread by deschlong https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/%5Bdiy%5D-interior-cabin-air-c-filter-retrofit-5g-92-95-delsol-6g-96-00-civic-2552431/
