i have a 98 civic ex and i put a b18c in. i have the engine in a hooked up, i've tried to start she turns over but never cranks. when i turn the key on it the fuel pump never primes. i have checked all the fuses. i also never hear the main relay click when i turn the key on. i plan to buy a new relay when i get paid. but nwhat else could prevent the fuel pump from getting power

Yes check grounds. That is most likely your problem

 

i have valve cover , one by transmission, and battery am i missing one?

 

Make sure you sand those down and re do them. And I believe there is one by the therostat

yeah i saw that one it goes from the thermostat to where?

 

i put a volt meter on it. im getting power to my main relay but not the fuel pump.so ill go buy a relay and if that doesnt fix it im out of ideas :/
