Car Wont Start
For some reason, i've been having some serious car troubles lately: main one being my car wont start when its relatively hot out (Outside temp >90º). if i move it to the shade for like an hour then it fires right up. im thinking some sort of vapor lock, but it doesnt seem right because i try to keep my tank above half full, and i doubt that all that could turn to a vapor or even come close to causing the problem. anyone got any ideas? no check engine light, no other fuel related problems that im aware of either.

Re: Car Wont Start (Slopoke)

EDIT: to be honest i dont think ive ever heard the fuel pump prime itself, maybe my hearing is shot >_<

Try and listen for it. Its easier if you have someone else turn the key on and you get in the back and listen for it.
When the relay starts to go bad, it will work intermitenly. It is affected by heat too.

yeah. if you need a relay i got one for sale make me an offer.
im in canada and take paypal. i bought one thinking my relay was bad as i could bypass the relay fine. turned out i had a blown fuse (the ags or whatever one is with the srs relay. didnt think to check it as it was elevated)
either way, its gonna be your relay
if you want to test it, unplug the relay, take a wire and put it in slot #1 and #3, then another from slot #3 to #7
this jumps your ecu and fuel pump. alternatively u can use pin #5 as thats 12V from the ignition
