B series gsr or obd1 or obd2 b series will bolt right up using all the stock b series motor mounts, pretty much anything up to 2001.after 95 tho you will need a obd1 engine harness to make the motor work with your ride. You can make any b series work so long as you have a hydro tranny. H series doesn't drop in as easy, requires you to buy mounts and it a little tighter. H22 is heavy and not woth it unless you get jdm that's 220hp otherwise it's way easier and lighter to get yourself a integra type r engine for the hp and ease of install

Depends on your budget and future plans for the car. IMO, if you want boost at all, just go B series and be done with that part. If you want to stay N/A, but still have decent power, go K or H series. I love my H22 swap.

Do you want something fast as in street wise or track wise because just by switching from a d to b you'll feel the difference that might be enough to call it a day

You can make what you have fast. Spend $1k or less to have someone install a cheap turbo kit, boost at 8psi on stock internals.

You can swap a B series in. cost $1400-2000 , $2k-3k to buy/have installed.

You can swap a H series in. cost is cheaper for H series sometimes because they are not as sought after. Still expect $1k at least. but H trans ratio is not that aggressive.

You can swap a H series w/ B series trans w/ the H2B kit. Expensive, but you will essentially be killing K series w/ a all motor H series.

-Turbo if not maintained and tuned will prematurely wear the engine.

-B series fits best, is "correct" in Japan, easiest, hard to complain about.

-H series heavier, have to concentrate on suspension components, and if you don't get the H2B then you have a shift cable going into your interior that will make your shifter location out of whack.

-K series, Way more expensive, more torque out of the box in some comparisons.

Conclusion:

If you want crazy fast, crazy cheap, and crazy short longevity- Turbo and don't pay attention to tuning it or maintaining it, and boost over 8psi on stock engine.

If you want power, potential, clean, moderately cheap- B series

If you want to kill K series for way cheaper than going K series, go H2B.

If you want newest, most potential out of box other than H series, and money is no object go K.

If I were you, I'd see if I could find a 94-95 integra complete engine, shift linkage, axles. Hopefully a GSR. If you could find a rear ended LS or GSR for 1K-2000 and you can take the engine/axles/shift linkage/sway bars/brakes, etc, you'd be golden.

Where I live (read profile) there are preludes with H22A2 (Sr-v model) going for $800-$1000. That's the complete car. A B-Series (non lsd. Unless you come across a deal) tranny runs $100-$300. I think that H2B kit is like $500.

I think you have an attainable budget. I'm assuming your American? Considering your economy is in the **** hole (thank your government, secret society, 1%, etc) I'm sure you could haggle someone down on price.

Best of luck and remember to post pics if you grab something.
