Default '94 civic w/ v tech swap has a small oil leak

I recently just bought a '94 civic ej2 i believe, or thats what the vin says, "made in canada". anyways I have a small oil leak and just wondering where it might be coming from?, I believe to think its the heads butt not exactly sure.. any ideas for where or what it might be coming from?, I bought it from a friend who swapped in a v-tec...

if it's coming from the top of the motor on the transmission side it is likely

1. distributor o ring
2. vtec housing gasket
3. valve cover gasket

Don't forget the rubber breather hose connecting the valve cover to the intake manifold
I've had one crack and drip oil/blow-by down from it before too ^^;

Don't forget cam seal for top of the motor -- I have had these go bad on me and they **** oil all over the timing belt area.
