Default water/meth fail safes

So, I'm going to run some water/meth in my crx and wanted to get some fail safes working. I know the kits come with an light for when fluid level is low and the AEM one has some kind of system error thing (don't understand how it exactly works). I have a Neptune RTP and you can do the map switching, but if for some reason the water/meth fails under high boost, all I really need to do is decrease boost down to pump gas only level, but how do I do this. Just wondering how I can go about setting up fail safes if the water/meth system fails, besides just a light that comes on (hooked up to the ecu so it can decrease boost instantly, will have the EBC with PWN solenoid controlled through neptune). Also, what do you think is the best kit available? Thanks.

All I can do is talk about the AEM one. The controller itself has a ground output for protection. This will show a low side ground when it is low on fluid, a short in the wiring, controller problem and a voltage problem. This can be used to send a signal to your ECU not sure on the wiring to activate something like another boost map if the neptune has that available.

AEM also makes a water/methanol failsafe gauge that will monitor the flow of the water/meth and create a flow curve which you can send to the ECU in the event that it is flowing too little or too much. For an idea a high flow in some systems will show everything is working correctly however if your line comes off you will have a high flow. If the nozzle is clogged it may be injecting some but it may not be what the engine was tuned for still flowing just not enough. The AEM failsafe will look at both the upper limit and lower limit of injection and send a low side ground if anything is wrong with the system.
