95 accord battery light stays on
I was driving around today and I noticed my battery light was on while I was driving. I turned the car on then off and the light still stays on. Does this mean my battery is dying or could it be my alternator. It was raining at the time and i might have gotten some water on the belt and maybe that caused this? any ideas?-
So I went to take a look at it since it stopped raining this morning and this is what I found.......
The outer ring to the crank pulley (the part that the alternator belt goes on) SOMEHOW came off. I can slide it back on there but I can pull it off just as easily. I'm thinking I should clean the surfaces and honda-bond it to keep it in place, I would've used jb weld except there's a rubber mating surface.
Still not 100% on how this happened, but it doesn't look like I broke anything so oh well!

true, but I'll be swapping this engine out for a h22a in about a month so i'm not trying to dump any more cash into this engine than I have to.
