Icon2 eg with b16a2 wont start expert advise needed

I've searched with no luck on my issue even though this happens daily on these forums. b16a2 swapped eg si hatch will not start but will crank. Yesterday it drove fine to work and when i got off i went to start it and it fired up for about 5 seconds then died. tired again and it just cranks. i cant hear the fuel pump prime at all so today i bought a new fuel pump and installed it with no luck, still wont prime. i replaced the main relay with a new one and nothing, made no difference. I then checked all the fuses and all were good (under dash and under the hood). The battery and terminals also good.

i had the cel on and it was for tps sensor, iat sensor and o2 sensor. when i tried to check again it did nothing? i cant check the check engine light anymore.

b16a2 in a eg si hatch
replaced main relay
fuel pump
checked fuses

whats next to do? check current for the fuel pump wires?

Does the CEL remain on steady when the key is turned from off to ON(II)?

Is the G101 ground on the thermostat housing loose, corroded, or disconnected?

Is fuse 31 or 24 blown?

I've checked, cleaned and reconnected the thermostat ground. Also checked the fuses, all are in working order. Yes the CEL light stays on solid no blink at all, even trying to jump it and to retrieve the code it stays solid.
After replacing the fuel pump and main relay today I still don't hear the pump prime nor the click noise from the main relay.

Unplug the main relay, turn the key to ON(II), and check whether the Yel/Wht and Blk/Yel wire terminals in the connector have voltage.

What ECU?

at the moment im not around the car i had to leave it at work after it failed to start when i replaced the main relay, fuel pump, battery terminals, clean and reconnect the thermostat ground, and checking of the fuses i was pretty much frustrated. luckily im off tomorrow and i can go first thing in the morning to check and see if those wires have voltage. worst case is those wires dont have voltage, what would be the next step so i go prepared

currently im running a chipped p28 i had on my b20v years ago. it had a vafc but i have yet to install it on this one since i lost the jumper and rather not hack up the factory wires. i do have the oem p28 single cam ecu from the stock d16z6.

Problem solved I replaced the chipped p28 with the stock p28 the car came with and the fuel pump primed, car started. I don't know what's wrong with the chipped p28 and hope it's salvable.
