Default How do I wire a GM 3-bar MAP sensor into my 92 dx?

I have a 92 dx hatch. Which it has the map sensor wired into the car harness. Well I did a wire tuck and used a ex engine harness which has the map wired into it. I need to know what I need to rewire or repin on the ecu so the ecu will see the map thats in the engine harness. Right now ectune is only seeing a map signal when I plug a stock map into the plug thats one the car harness. But I have a gm 3bar wired into my engine harness and I dont want to change that. So can someone please help me. This car is going to the tuner in like 4 days and I gotta have it running.

I'm not sure exactly what you need. The two outer terminals in the 3P connector for the MAP sensor receive 5 reference volts from ECU pins D17 and D19 and the center wire provides ground from ECU pin D21.

The chassis harness has the map wiring, the wires do not go to the shock tower plug, so you either need to just run the map off the chassis harness, the easiest option, or pin the wires into the shock tower plug which is unnessary.

On to the gm map wiring. I took a picture of the sensor I got from a guy with wires still connected. http://tinypic.com/r/rigphz/5

Looking at the clip side of the plug like in the picture, the wires connect in the position I have them held. One will be 5v, another is ground, another is signal.

Two wires (Yel/Red and Wht) will have 5 volts, without the engine running.

It needs to be attached to the TB or IM to work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you want the vacuum line to be as short as possible to keep the gauge accurate.
