Default Slow at acceleration

Hello guys, i searched this already, but didnt quite get the answer im looking for.
I have a 98 Civic LX 4dr, i just replaced the dizzy on Saturday, and after that, the car seems to lagg when accelerated. Everytime i go and step on the gas, it has a late reaction to accelerate, itll move, but it wont accelerate, like its clogged or something. I heard that it can be a couple things, but not sure what exactly, and i dont wanna go and replace everything, if its just one thing. What do you guys think the problem might be? thanks

YES!!! If that was the only thing you changed and it was fine before that then YES!!!
Check the FAQs on how to check timing or a service manual.

Just to let you know cuz I doesn't seem like you understand what we are talking about. We are saying to check your ignition timing(dizzy) not your mechanical timing(timing belt)

Do you even understand what we're talking about? See above. There's mechanical timing and ignition timing. When you swapped distributors you mucked up the ignition timing.

You might just want to take it to a shop because that's one of the most basic things you can know about your car. Especially if you're going to question everything everyone is saying.
