Default Zex nitrous question

I just got my zex kit all installed and i went to make a run, but the bottle was only at 600 on the pressure gauge, and i read it should be up around 900, its a full bottle, and no apparent leaks, only problem i can see is that my bottles cold ( 40 degrees outside) would this make that much of a difference?

it should be ok, its kinda low. might be worth it to invest in a bottle warmer, or put it inside where its warm and then put it in the car. it won't operate as well as it would with the right psi.

Get a bottle warmer, optimal pressure is between 900-950

You are correct sir

its a full bottle, and no apparent leaks
Doesn't effect pressure. If it's cold, the pressure will drop.

only problem i can see is that my bottles cold ( 40 degrees outside) would this make that much of a difference?
Correct, and yes. Get a warmer. Stick it on there. Keep it about 900-950, and you will feel a significant difference. You'll also feel a difference between a full bottle and a 1/2 full bottle. It's weird, but you can feel it.

yeah man if the climate you live in is typically that cold buy a heater, eventually it will pay for itself since the kit would be working so much better.
oh and by the way zex is fun
