There's no need for aftermarket ignition if you're n/a.

i actually heard that the internal coil is one of the weakest parts of the honda ignition system.....so i got the external coil

Many of the fastest Hondas in the world rely on the stock ignition.

I had some good gains with my MSD and external coil in a boosted application. Just remember to re-gap the plugs to about .042-.045 and your laughing. The other issue is how to run the stock coil wires through the distributor, but with some thought you'll figure it out.
