97 civic wont start, have spark and fuel
Okay,
ive run out of options on trying to figure this out myself. Have a 97 civic dx automatic. Sunday night i drove it out of the garage, cleaned the garage up, and then drove it back in later that night. Monday morning get up and it wont start. I pulled spark plugs, turned it over and have a bright white part. I can hear the fuel pump priming, but also popped the nut on the fuel to make sure and yes there is fuel. Also checked timeing and that is fine. Car turns over but wont start.
My other thoughts are fuel pressure regulator, or injectors? Perhaps fuel is getting the the rail but not into the motor or not enough into the motor.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
