Default aem ems 1060 coil driver

hi, i am running a seperate ignition amplifier and a wasted spark system on my car. the two coil drivers seem too have gave up. can i move to the spare two coil driver pins? if so what needs too be done? is it common for the drivers to go, is there a fix for it? thanks in advance

Look at the instruction manual that came with the EMS. It will list the spare coil drivers for the vehicle. The most likely went out because you are over driving the circuit. Too much dwell for your setup. Once you find the spare drivers re-wire the outputs to those and change the settings in the software.

its been running this setup for a while now without issue. i tried the extra drivers with no joy. just too give a bit more info, it runs a crank trigger with no cam reference with the sync off. now and again when you reload the map and with the plugs out it will spark weakly. no spark with plugs in. the rpm signal reads 250-300. beginning to think the ecu has a few gremlins inside.
