Has anyone considered trying to set up a wasted spark coilpack setup using a flip-flop circuit to trigger coil packs from the single IGN trigger? It would require using the TDC sensor to sync the correct firing order. This is all pretty simple and I'm likely leaving something out or I'm sure everyone would be doing it already.

 

Why though? Do you see a benefit with running wasted spark?

 

Coil packs remove the need for cap and rotor as wear items, increase available coil charge time, etc....
