Cut the old rubber seal off. Spray the new seal with silicone lubricant, warm the seal in your hand to make it more supple, and then force the seal past the obstruction with your thumbs. It may take some time to figure out how to do this. Once you do, the others will be relatively straightforward.

Thanks for the info! I did cut the old seals off, and I liked the Idea of warming them up a bit to soften the rubber, but then I used the tapered tip of a plastic rtv sealant applicator (new and unused its about 2 inches long) I just cut enough length off the tip to cover the threads of the bolt. the larger end was about the same diameter of the obstruction and i drilled the center hole so it would fit easily over the threads) it it gave me a nice little taper cone and with a little lube I pushed the new seals on over the "obstruction" with almost no effort. Sounds like i went thru alot of trouble to make the little tool, but it actually only took me a couple of minutes to make it. I felt that Doing it this way prevented the seals from being damaged by skull draging them on with brute force... plus Im an old man now and I just didnt have the strength in my hands to do it any other way. thx

I used a vice to push them off and to put the new ones on using a socket
