Default d series mild build

I was curious can you do a mild d series (d16y8) build?

Say a better pistons, valves, maybe cam shaft?

The main question is since it is being rebuilt, can you do a slight upgrade to it, without serious modifications etc?

I'm not really understanding your question.

Bascially, make a little more power than stock by rebuilding.

Implausible.

Is this a serious question? Do any of the days end in "Y"?

There are some d series builds, most turbo I know, but upgrade builds are out there.

No, the Honda Gods will smite you with their powers if you attempt to build a D series. It is physically impossible to buy parts readily available on millions of sites for D series, install them, and tune the car.

It probably wont be worth it. I saw a completely built all motor D series ($10,000 or more into the motor set-up), put down only ~160 whp/125wtq. Owner was NOT happy. lol

I was making fun of you... OF COURSE there is aftermarket parts readily avaible and TONS of factory "upgrades" as well. This is the most generic question/statement that has been brought up. These engines have only existed for 1.5 decades and have been built forwards, backwards, side-side, upside down, and inside out (in other words EVERY single way imaginable)...

Please, do yourself a favor and search this topic. If you actually search and have a specific question, then ask away.
