Default need help please

i have been putting my motor back in my accord and its the stock motor i have everything bolted up and tight and in the car well i am putting the fluids back in and the metal hose from the water pump keeps leaking and ive tried everything from o rings to gasket maker to honda bond nothing will work only thing i havent done is changed the metal pipe what do i need to do and its a f22b1 automatic

you put a brand new o-ring on the end o the pipe where it goes into the block behind the water pump? also make sure you put a little bit of grease on the o-ring so it slides in rather than getting twisted or rolling. i would also inspect the pipe and make sure it is not dented or damaged on that end.

well its not that end its the end where the thermostat is

His advice is valid regardless of which side you're having issue with because they both use o-rings to seal to their respective housings.
Also be sure you are actually using the "correct" o-ring.

I have reassembled accord heads using parts store head gasket kits and the o-rings for the water tube have been wrong before.

If the o-ring in question is just slightly too large, or small, it will do what yours is doing.
I looked everywhere and couldn't find a suitable replacement. Finally I broke down and went to Honda to get a replacement that would work.

Oh and one more thing.
There is a small metal tab on the water hard pipe that secures it to the back of the block.
Make sure you bolt it in place or movement could be causing it to leak as well.
